Description

PULSE STAR II was developed primarily to identify massive metal objects at deep depths. Because the detector can work with very large search coils (typical size: 1m x 1m = 40″ x 40″) and sends high power pulses, it can penetrate deeper than smaller coils can. Furthermore, larger coils can scan larger areas more quickly. Small metal fragments, such as bottle caps or foil, are automatically overlooked. A diverse selection of auxiliary coils allows for the detection of tiny things. Metals of all types can be detected. A conductivity measurement for items greater than 10 cm (4″) determines whether the object has good conductivity (e.g., silver) or poor conductivity (e.g., iron).

Choose the proper coil for the job: the electronics unit may accept seven different coils ranging in size from 2.5cm (1″) to 200cm (80″). In general, the greater the detection depth, the larger the coil. When employing huge coils, the item must be larger. The PULSE STAR II PRO’s coils and connectors are all waterproof. The coils can be operated at a distance from the electronics unit using the Extension Cables, for example, put on a rubber boat. The Universal Search Loop comes without any plastic tubes. This allows for the creation of various coil sizes ranging from 50cm (20″) to 200cm (80″) as well as other shapes, such as elongated or round instead of square. The Cylindric Probe (with a cable length of 5m/16ft or 10m/32ft) can be dropped into cracks or holes. The Telescopic Pole and the Round Coils (25cm/10″ or 45cm/18″) are used to identify and target large and tiny items. The PULSE STAR II PRO’s power source is very well thought out: The integrated rechargeable lead-acid battery lasts around 10 hours per charge. An automatic quick charge controller is also included, ensuring that charging takes no more than four hours. Charging can be accomplished using a variety of methods, including the standard charger (230 or 120 volts), the car cigarette lighter charging cable, or the solar panel charger.
